About service
Kids United Early Learning Centre is a long day care service in Casula, NSW, for children aged 0-6 years. I worked in my placement with 0–3 years helping the children to develop by playing and learn.
The centre has its own garden area where children are involved in planting and gardening as well as looking after chickens and birds to promote a sense of responsibility and curiosity. Kids United is an accessible service to all children, including children with additional needs and prams at rests to be used anytime if needed.
This program is based on the EYLF V2. 0, with an emphasis on providing a caring, respecting, and stimulating environment where children have a strong sense of belonging and connection with the natural world.

Centre Philosophy
The service believe that children are capable, competent and active learners, and important contributors to their community. They values the importance of childhood as a significant stage of human development in its own right as well as the foundation for all later learning and development.
The Kids United contribute to all children realising their promise and potential, both now and in the future. They believe that positive outcomes for children can best be achieved in environments and communities that are free from discrimination, where children can feel they belong and can be safe, and where their rights and views are respected.(Kids United OSHC, n.d.)
