At Kids United Early Learning Centre, during my placement , I demonstrated professionalism by arriving on time, providing consistency, and being ready every day using the uniform provided by my college and the name batch. I approached staff in a respectful manner, complied with centre policies and kept confidential any interpretations and recording of children’s learning.i make sure being familiar with children's name and approached them with their names.

I partnered with teachers, participated in routines, and nurtured children with care and dignity. I critiqued my teaching often, and I took criticism well in order to grow. This opportunity allowed me to become a more confident and knowledgeable professional teacher in early childhood.

At my practice, I strived to build an atmosphere of safety, belonging and inclusion for each child. I established trust with caring, respect, patience, and supporting relationships of children, by being available for the child both physically and emotionally, around the clock.

To ensure physical well being I adhered to all supervision regulations, continually monitored the environment of play/equipment and role modelled safe behaviours. I've advocated for children to make safety choices and reinforced their autonomy with simple prompting.

Children’s social and emotional wellness was promoted by recognizing their accomplishment and nurturing kindness and empathy in their interactions with others. I employed inclusive and thoughtful language, acknowledging the experiences, beliefs, and individual interests of all my students in promoting a respectful and inclusive learning environment

During my placement I have always had national frameworks and ethical guidelines to inform me in my day-to-day decision making within the realm of professional practice. References to NQS and EYLF were a basis for planning, interactions and learning environment development. These frameworks helped me deliver teaching practices consistent with the provision of high-quality education and responsive care, that reflected children's developmental levels.

I used ECA Code of ethics to establish respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues. My relationship with the children was rooted in ethical pedagogical principles, advocacy of their rights, and a strong emphasis on promoting their professional well-being and voice.

I followed rules, like those of supervision and educator-to-child ratios, and eagerly took part in team reflections for practice improvement. Through reflective thought and its application, I was able to greater contribute to the learning community as a professional educator.
